On Saturday, November 16, the Hunts Point Produce Market, in collaboration with the 41st Precinct, hosted its fifth annual ‘Hunts Point Gives Back’ community event at the Julio Carballo Little League Basketball Court.

For the event, more than 25,000 pounds of fresh, healthy, seasonal produce including Macintosh apples, oranges, baking potatoes, carrots, ginger, cranberries, garlic, yams and rutabagas, as well as acorn, butternut and chayote squash was donated to Hunts Point and south Bronx residents.
