The Emerald Isle Immigration Center which has offices at 4275 Katonah Avenue, celebrated its nearly three decades of services to the Irish and immigrant communities with a Celtic Cruise around Manhattan on Thursday, June 23. Hosted in conjunction with Division 7 Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Celtic Cruise aboard the three-story ‘Spirit of New York’ is the immigration center’s biggest fundraiser collecting funds to support the non-profit’s effort to provide information, education, employment and social services for the newcomers. The annual cruise raised more than $50,000.
