More than a thousand runners participated in the ninth annual Damon Runyon 5K on Saturday, July 15 at Yankee Stadium.
The event raised over $350,000 for the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation with 100% of the funds going toward supporting innovative cancer research by brilliant, early career scientists.

Team Bluebirds in Pinstripes raised over $15,000 for innovative cancer research earning them the top fundraising team spot for 2017.
