A group of Pelham Bay residents who protested the placement of a social service facility in the former Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center D’urso Pavilion in 2014 continued their opposition to the facility with a demonstration outside Councilman James Vacca’s office on Saturday, June 27. The group contends the councilman has not done enough to shut the facility.
