Community Board 7 honored five local veterans with an ‘Eagle’ at its annual Veterans Brunch Awards on Friday, April 20 at Lehman College. This year’s exemplary honorees included sergeant Nestor Cabrera, U.S. Navy and U.S. Army National Guard veteran; Doug Condit, U.S. Army Reserve veteran; specialist Claude Copeland, U.S. Army veteran; specialist Marisa Estrella, U.S. Army chaplain assistant and Crystal Reveron, U.S. Army veteran and 52nd Precinct Community Affairs police officer. In return, the veterans honored the person that has supported them throughout their military journey with a ‘Wing.’
