Five youth sports leaders were toasted at this year’s Bronx YMCA Bon Appetit Fundraiser on Thursday, September 6 at 2 Castle Hill Avenue. The annual celebration paid homage to such individuals as Jay Demers, Warriors Football Club founder; Eric Semler, Bronx Bombers Little League Travel Team founder; Amanda McLean, New York Yankees Corporate/Community Relations coordinator; Bouna Coundoul, former Senegalese Soccer player and coach; and Vincent Buccieri, Fordham Prep freshman coach.
