Police are searching for the crook who struck an MTA employee in the face with a glass bottle on the 4 train traveling southbound near the 167th Street subway station on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.

Police say the assaulted took place just after 11:30 a.m. on March 6 as the victim, a 38-year-old MTA wubway conductor who was on-duty was on the 4 train traveling southbound when an unidentified male approached and struck her in the face with a glass bottle. The victim sustained a minor injury to the right side of the face and continued on with her job for two stops, until she spotted officers at the 149th St.-Grand Concourse station and asked for assistance, according to the NYPD.

She was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition, police said.

The crook was last seen fleeing the station on foot, according to authorities.He was last seen wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and black jacket, with a black hat, according to images released by the NYPD.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
