BCC Hosts 39th Annual Run The Bronx

Bronx Community College served as a race track for its 39th annual Dr. Roscoe C. Brown Run the Bronx 10K, 5K and two mile fitness walk on Saturday, May 6.

The time honored sports event was dedicated to the memory of the late Dr. Roscoe C. Brown, former BCC president and Tuskegee Airman, who passed away last July.

Dr. Brown, who founded the race in 1978, was remembered during a moment of silence and had his number officially retired.

A portion of the entry fee will be used to fund two scholarships for BCC students.
