Notable Passing

Irma Sasso, a Country Club resident of 90 years, passed away.

In loving memory of Irma Sasso who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17.

She leaves behind nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and she will be greatly missed.

Franck Strongbow received the American Society for Prevention to Cruelty to Animals Heros in Human Services Award before a large audience at ASPCA’s Manhattan offices on Thursday, April 11.

Strongbow is a former long-time director of a senior center, and was an editorial writer and freelancer for Spanish and English language media for 25 years.

In the 1990s, he was a NY State Senate communications director.

Strongbow is the founder and president of Seniors Enhancement Advocates.
