Allerton community members gathered at the library, located at 2740 Barnes Ave., to enjoy the cookies and hot cocoa, receive gifts, get pictures with Santa Claus and more. Kids up to 16 years of age had several different gifts to choose from as they enjoyed the treats on hand.

Assemblymember Zaccaro spoke at the event, discussing the importance of being able to spread Christmas cheer across the Allerton community. He also thanked the event’s sponsors, including the Bronx Times, for helping to give back to the community during the holiday season.
