43rd Pct., Community Honors Slain and Injured Officers

Hundreds of Bronxites and New Yorkers offered their thoughts and prayers for two 43rd Precinct sergeants involved in a deadly shoot out on Friday, November 4 in Stratton Park.

The 43rd Precinct Community Council and 43rd Precinct Community Affairs hosted a candlelight vigil on Monday, November 7 for fallen officer, sergeant Paul Tuozzolo and injured officer, sergeant Emmanuel Kwo in front of the 900 Fteley Avenue precinct house.

St. Raymond Elementary School showed its support of sergeant Tuozzolo’s family and fellow officers at the 43rd Precinct by affixing hundreds of blue ribbons to the school’s fence on Thursday, November 10.

The school also made cards and raised money for the slain sergeant’s family and the 43rd Precinct.
