East Side House Settlement hosted its 3rd Annual Toyota Family Learning Graduation on Saturday, May 18 at the Bronx Art Space. This year’s graduates were honored for their service in improving the Mott Haven neighborhood. The projects included hosting a community safety walk with the NYPD and PSA 7, designing and distributing pamphlets to inform immigrant and new arrival families how to access quality medical attention and insurance options and creating signage for local playgrounds encouraging their preservation.
