Woman Fatally Shot In Williamsbridge

Police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a 26-year-old woman in Williamsbridge early Sunday. EMS responded to a call on Sunday, April 2 at 2:30 a.m. of a young woman lying in front of a residential building on 761 E. 214th Street. The woman identified as Margarita Franco was discovered dead on arrival with a gunshot wound to the back of her head. No arrests have been made and a motive has yet to be determined.
