Serving the blind and visually impaired since 1926, the Visions Bronx Advisory Board held its 23rd annual dinner and awards ceremony last Thursday, March 10 at Tosca Marquee. Last week’s prestigious awards ceremony honored community leaders and innovators for their various contributions to our borough. This year’s distinguished honorees included Marlene Cintron, Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation president; Jennifer and Les Goodstein, Community News Group owners; Chuck Cohen, C TECH Low Vision Solutions president; Toba LaCrown, Bronx Rotary Club president; Rosemary DeLuca, Wildlife Conservation Society assistant director and Laurie Munro, NYS Commission for the Blind, coordinator of children’s services.
