Throgs Neck Little League has made it to the All-Stars and is doing well across all teams divisions. The league’s 12 U All-Stars defeated Van Nest Little League 5 to 0 to win the District 22 Championship on Thursday, July 7. TNLL’s 15/16 Senior League scored a 6 to 5 victory in the New York Section 3 South Championship on Saturday, July 9 thanks to solid pitching by Anthony Russo and Aidan O’Brian. The league’s 9/10 took home the gold as Nine-Ten Year-Old New York District 22 Champions on Tuesday, July 12 after winning 20 to 0 against CHLL. On Wednesday, July 13, Throggs Neck’s 13/14 earned the title of Junior League New York District 22 Champions after their 7 to 3 victory over Castle Hill Little League. This marks the first time ever that TNLL swept all five age groups as District Champions.
