Third annual Bronx Gentrification Conference in Mount Eden

The third annual Bronx Gentrification Conference took place on Sunday, January 10 at the New Settlement Community Center in Mount Eden. The event included a discussion of a de Blasio administration plan to rezone 73 blocks along Jerome Avenue for new development, as well as a short film and discussion about red-lining and disinvestment. Local residents and artists took part in the conference, as did City Limits, The Bronx Documentary Center and CASA-New Settlement Apartments.
