Members of the Community-Police Relations Foundation helped distribute food. Numerous Bronx community members came out for the event to receive groceries. While the event was scheduled to start at 12 p.m., some people lined up as early as 7:30 a.m. The groceries were put together and provided by the New York Common Pantry.

Boost Mobile also gave out chapsticks, pens, sunglasses and more from their table. Additionally, they held a raffle, with two community members each winning a free smartphone.
