Target is open!
While constructiion at the Throggs Neck Shopping Center is moving towards a full opening in time for the “back to school” season, its anchor store just opened.
Target, the large national retailer anchoring the complex at Lafayette Avenue and Brush Avenue, has a grand opening scheduled for Sunday, July 27.
The store had an opening celebration for company leadership on the evening of Tuesday, July 22, according to sources.
Its “soft-opening,” a retail term basically meaning a dry run, is occurring from Wednesday, July 23 to Saturday, July 26.
