This year’s distinguished honorees included Rev. David Hernquist, Van Nest Assembly of God pastor; Norma Saunders, Bronx River Resident Association president; inspector Ruel Stephenson, 47th Precinct commanding officer; Sandra Chaiken, Jacobi Medical Center Social Services director; John Doyle, Jacobi Medical Center Public Affairs director and Hannah Nelson, former hospital executive at Jacobi.
