Suspects wanted in Bronx subway robbery: NYPD seeks public’s help

Two suspects are wanted in connection with a robbery on a Bronx subway early Monday morning, and the NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.

The suspects approached a 30-year-old man on a northbound “6” train near the Cypress Avenue station on Oct. 14, at around 3:50 a.m. One of the suspects, armed with a bat, threatened the victim and demanded his belongings. The other suspect stole the victim’s bicycle. Both suspects fled the train at the East 143 Street station and escaped to an unknown location.

The victim, though not seriously injured, went to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln for treatment as a precaution and was reported in stable condition.

The first suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, and the second suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. Surveillance footage depicting the individuals has been released, and authorities are asking for help from anyone who may have information.
