Miss Abbie’s seventh annual ‘Halloween Extravaganza Health/Wellness Fair & Block Event’ was held on Thursday, October 31 at 2553 Decatur Avenue. The event included facepainting, healthy treats, characters and raffles as well as with on-site breast cancer screenings. The event’s slogan was ‘marrying health and Halloween for a healthier Bronx child’. Miss Abbie’s Kids is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance and drive a higher quality of life through teaching, workshops and health education for North East Bronx youth.
