On Saturday, November 9, the north Bronx branch of the National Council of Negro Women, along with with Youth Leaders on the Move and American Legion Post 1871, hosted a Veterans Appreciation Day at Community Board 12’s office to honor the men and women who currently serve and have previously served in the United States’ armed forces.
