ICNA Relief USA Opens Food Pantry In Pelham Parkway
Detective Jay Sturdivant (c), 49th Precinct Community Affairs, was honored with a Community Service Award during the ceremony.
ICNA Relief USA held the grand opening of its Bronx Food Pantry on Sunday, June 30 at 2141 Holland Avenue. The pantry is dedicated in memory of Bekim Baloku who passed away at a young age.
Aleksander Nilaj (c), Albanian American Open Hand Association Inc. president and founder and volunteer Srabomni A. Kanmaken (r) lent a helping hand at the grand opening.
Captain Andrew Natiw (c), 49th Precinct commanding officer, proudly accepted his Community Service Award.
Community leaders and elected officials were excited to cut the ribbon for ICNA Relief USA’s Bronx food pantry.
Everyone rejoiced after cutting the ribbon.
Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernandez (c) joined local volunteers at the event.
