Tuesday, February 11 at 6:00 p.m. — Cops are looking for help in finding an Hispanic man who used a 36-year-old Waterbury-LaSalle woman’s personal information to make an unauthorized purchase of $2,500 worth of products from a wireless telephone provider. The man is about five feet, eight inches tall and weighs about 180 to 200 pounds.

Tuesday, February 13 at 6:30 p.m. — Cops are investigating a burglary at a grocery store at 1833 Hobart Avenue that appears to be a part of a pattern that also involved an earlier burglary at a diner in the borough on Tuesday, February 20. A 42-years-old store employee found a broken window at the store and it was determined that about $350 dollars of merchandise was taken. The individual described in connection with the incidents is a white man who is between 30-years-old and 40-years-old. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing.

46 Precinct

Thursday, February 8 at 5:15 p.m. — A group of men in their 20s approached a 15-year-old male victim and began to hit him with a stick and a brick. They also punched and kicked him. Then they took his cell phone and $20 in cash before splitting up and fleeing the location in different directions. The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital by EMS, where he was treated for multiple injuries that included a fractured right leg.

49 Precinct

Saturday, February 17 at 12:05 a.m. — Cops arrested two people in connection with the murder of George Carrasquillo, a 45-year-old man, in a car parked in front of 1932 Hone Avenue on Monday, February 5. Arrested and charged with murder in the case are Joselin Espada, 38-years-old and Nelson Lopez, 41-years-old.
