40 Precinct

Saturday, January 6 at 2:30 a.m. -- An assault was reported at a billiard establishment at 671 Prospect Avenue. A 26-year-old man, the victim, was knocked down to the ground by a large group of individuals after a dispute. After falling to the floor, one of the individuals fired two shots at the victim. The victim was hit in his leg. The victim left the billiard establishment and did not seek medical attention. The individual firing the gun is described as a black man with facial hair, last seen wearing a black coat and dark-colored pants.

42 Precinct

Saturday, January 20 at 11:45 a.m. -- Cops got a report of a grand larceny in front of 890 Trinity Avenue. An individual snatched a 17-year-old man’s headphones while he was wearing them on his head, fleeing southbound on a purple bicycle. The individual on the bicycle is described as a black man last seen wearing a a black coat with a fur-lined hood, dark colored pants with stripes on its sides and a red hoodie.

44 Precinct

Tuesday, January 30 at 7:50 p.m. -- Cops received a report concerning a robbery of an employee of a multiservice establishment at 101 E. 165 Street. One of two individuals approached the 40-year-old man with a gun and demanded money. The person with the gun then walked over to another store employee, a 24-year-old woman, sat down and took $2,400 in cash from a cash register. The individual also took the male employee’s cell phone before he walked out of the location. A second person remained near the entrance and acted as a lookout for the individual inside.

46 Precinct

Friday, December 8 at 9:25 a.m. -- It was reported to cops that a 19-year-old man was robbed near E. 188th Street and Marion Avenue. The victim was approached by two individuals, one of whom had a knife. They took the victim’s cellular phone valued at about $1,000 and fled. The victim was not injured.

52 Precinct

Thursday, January 11, 2018 7:00 p.m. -- Cops got a report of a burglary that appears to be part of a pattern. A 29-year-old woman returned home to her residence near East 201st Street and Valentine Avenue to find some of her possessions were missing and notified the police. Police were able to determine that an unidentified man entered the residential location through an unsecured entry point and took an estimated $4,000 in jewelry and electronics.
