On Tuesday, July 3, Meghan O’Malley, along with her 5-year-old son, Damian, who was diagnosed with apraxia, helmed the Apraxia Awareness (Walk for Apraxia) booth at the Northeast Bronx Community Farmers Market. O’Malley, from Pelham Bay, volunteers with Apraxia Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children with apraxia and their families.
