Friday, May 18 at 11:30 a.m. — Cops got a report of an attempted robbery that took place at a check-cashing establishment at 164 E. 174th Street. An individual who is described a black man in his 40s who is around six-feet-tall handed a 24-year-old woman who is a teller at the establishment a hand-written note demanding money. It stated: “I’ll shoot you!.”

The teller, who wasn’t injured in the incident, handed the note back to the individual, who fled the location on foot. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a white baseball cap, dark colored sneakers and blue jeans.

49 Precinct

Friday, May 25 at 4:50 p.m. — A 10-year-old girl was entering her building, located in the vicinity of Pelham Parkway North and Holland Avenue, while holding iPhone 7+.

An unidentified individual followed her into the vestibule and forcibly grabbed the phone from her hand and threw her to the ground where he kicked her in the face before fleeing the scene.

50 Precinct

Thursday, June 5 at 4:00 a.m. — Police got a report of a rape of 73-year-old woman on Reservoir Avenue and West 195th Street. She was approached by an identified man who approached her from behind and pushed her the ground.

The individual placed his hand over her mouth and sexually assaulted her. During the struggle, the woman was able to scream for assistance and push the individual. T

he unidentified individual fled the scene. EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital.

52 Precinct

Tuesday, June 5 at 2:42 p.m. — An individual approached a 17-year-old man at bus stop at West Fordham Road and University Avenue with a knife. He stabbed the victim once in the stomach. EMS responded and took the victim to a local medical center where he was in stable condition. A person of interest is described as a Hispanic man who was seen wearing jeans, a white tank top and red sneakers.
