The day started with a mini parade up Westchester Avenue to Westchester Square’s Owen Dolen Park Amphitheater where a day of old-fashioned games, live entertainment and music began. Local dancers displayed a thought provoking banner.

NYC Department of Sanitation representatives provided guests with educational literature.

The Praizers were eager to show off their impressive dance moves.
Many young parade participants enjoyed their trip from St. Helena’s Church to Owen Dolen Park.
