Councilman Andy King joined in the fight for Family Paid Leave at the second annual Game Changer for the 21st Century Workplace Awards at 1199 SEIU. New York’s Paid Family Leave provides job-protected and paid time off for individuals to bond with their newly born, adopted or fostered child; care for a close relative with a serious health condition or assist loved ones when a family member is deployed abroad on active military service.
