42 Precinct

Wednesday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. — A robbery was reported to cops as having taken place inside a clothing store at 961 E. 174th Street. A man described as an Hispanic in his 20s or 30s attempted to leave the store with unpaid merchandise.

When a store security guard attempted to stop him, the individual pulled a knife and threatened to harm the guard. The individual then fled the store with about $130 worth of merchandise on Vyse Avenue. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing.

44 Precinct

Tuesday, May 22 at 12:36 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call of a person stabbed inside of 1027 Walton Avenue.

When they got to the scene, police officers found a 30-year-old pregnant women who had been stabbed multiple times in her torso. EMS responded and took the victim to Lincoln Hospital where the mother was in critical condition and her fetus was pronounced dead.

48 Precinct

Saturday, April 21 at 5:35 p.m. — Police responded to a 911 call of a person needing help inside of 946 Bronx Park South, apartment #2A. When they arrived, the officers found a conscious 57-year-old woman with a laceration and other trauma to her head. They also found a 52-year-old man with a laceration and trauma who was unresponsive in a hallway. EMS took both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital. The woman was in stable condition after the incident, and the man succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, May 8.

Monday, April 30 at 12:34 p.m. — A robbery was reported at a wireless store at 2294 Crotona Avenue. A 49-year-old man was buying a cellular phone when he was approached by a woman who was his acquaintance. The woman demanded money from the man and when he refused, she pushed him to the ground and forcibly took $100 from his pants pocket before fleeing the store. The individual is described as black woman who is about 40-years-old and 200 pounds. She has a dark complexion, a medium build and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a gray shirt and pants. She goes by the nickname ‘Yum Yum’.
