Bronx youth participate in March For Our Lives

Community groups, Mary Mitchell Center, Health People and FIERCE, joined to take Bronx youth to the Washington, D.C. March for Our Lives on March 24. Many of the teens who participated were also involved in other community activities from mentoring to advocating for other youth issues. Members of the congregation thought the event was inspiring however, many thought the event was sad because it was organized as a result of the students killed in school shootings over the years.
