43 Precinct

Sunday, December 17 at 7:47 a.m. — Cops received a report of a robbery that appears to be a part of a pattern. A black male weighing about 180 to 200 pounds approached a 92-year-old woman in front of 1372 Stratford Avenue and put his hand over her face. He took the victim’s purse and threw her to the ground. Her purse contained about $40 in cash, a Metro Card, identification and keys. He then fled the scene. The victim had minor injuries but did not seek medical attention.

44 Precinct

Monday, December 18 at 2:36 p.m — Cops responded to an assault inside an apartment at 1417 Grand Concourse. They found a 59-year-old woman lying unresponsive and face up on the kitchen floor. EMS responded and pronounced the victim dead on arrival. The New York City Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.

45 Precinct

Monday, November 27 at 6 p.m. — Three individuals approached a 27-year-old man near 2430 Tratman Avenue.

They surrounded a male victim. One of the assailants smacked the victim and grabbed a bag containing a cell phone, with all three fleeing on bicycles.

The victim was not injured.

Saturday, December 16 at 6:50 a.m. — Police received a report about a dispute involving two groups of men at 2245 Westchester Avenue. In total, about five to seven men were engaged in the altercation.

One of the individuals in one of the groups punched another individual in the second group. Individuals from both groups then took out guns and began firing at each other. After the gunfire, members of both of the groups fled on foot to parts unknown.

48 Precinct

Sunday, December 17 at 3:28 p.m.– Cops responded to a 911 call of a severely injured man near 786 E. 182nd Street.

When cops got to the scene, they found EMS providing care to a 27-year-old man with lower body injuries. EMS took the man to St. Barnabas Hospital. At the hospital he was pronounced dead.
