Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr.; FreshDirect and local merchants helped spread some needed Thanksgiving cheer at the fourth annual Thanksgiving turkey distribution event on Monday, November 20 at Mott Haven Bar and Grill.
FreshDirect donated 500 turkeys which were distributed by volunteers to south Bronx residents.
FreshDirect volunteers joined Diaz (front, c), FreshDirect’s Jason Ackerman (front, 3rd from r) and vice president of Public Affairs Larry Scott Blackmon (r) in providing much needed holiday cheer to the community.
