Bharati Dance Academy and The Bharati Foundation teamed up with Loving The Bronx, Morris Perks and Bomba Yo to host the inaugural Books, Bollywood and Bomba event at Virginia Park on Friday, September 8, featuring an evening of back-to-school giveaways, music, games and dancing for the community and youth.
Over 175 people were in attendance throughout the evening and 125 book bags were handed out with school supplies and materials by various vendors.
