Senator Jeff Klein, assembly members Michael Benedetto and Mark Gjonaj and the Morris Park Community Association sponsored the St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta’s Helping Hands for Houston volunteer effort on Saturday, September 9 at Loreto Park. Many residents and local businesses contributed canned goods, clothing, toiletries, pet food and baked goods to help Houston families impacted by Hurricane Harvey. All proceeds were donated to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund and the Houston Humane Society.
