The Youth Leaders on the Move annual Scholarship Award Ceremony was held on Saturday, June 17 at F&J Pine Restaurant.
This year’s Achievement Award recipients were Rosemary DeLuca of the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo; Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie; Dr. Jeremy Kabinoff of the NYC Department of Education; Councilman Andy King and his wife Neva Shillingford King; Bronx Supreme Court judge Llinet Rosado and Carlos Santiago, New Middle School principal.
Scholarship recipients included Marvin Alvarado from High School for Community Leadership, Aiden Garcia from Bronxdale High School, Malcolm Jamison Luciano from Pelham Preparatory Academy and Tamaia Wiltshire from Harry S. Truman High School.
