U.S. Marines make Bronxite a citizen

A recently enlisted Marine who hails from the borough and completed his recruit training at Parris Island, SC, Private Adrian Webster, also became a citizen at the completion of his training.

He was originally from Jamaica.

According to the U.S. Marine Corps., before recruits become citizens recruits must demonstrate knowledge of the English Language and of American government.

They must also show good moral character and take the Oath of Allegiance to the U.S. Constitution.
