One man is dead while another fights for his life after being shot this past Sunday in Mount Hope.
According to police, the shootings occurred on Sunday, December 11 at 7 p.m. near East 175th Street and Weeks Avenue.
A 41-year-old man identified as Jose Morales was pronounced dead on arrival after sustaining a gun shot wound to the head.
An unidentified 25-year-old man was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition after being shot twice in the face and once in the back.
