A school bus accident left five children and three adults injured after the bus overturned on the Bruckner Expressway.
Emergency responders said the bus collided with a car in the westbound lane of the Bruckner Expressway near Exit 6A, Tremont Avenue, on Wednesday, October 5 at 1 p.m.
Seven of the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries while one person sustained serious injuries.
All of the injured were taken to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment and released.
Investigators are examining the cause for the accident.
It is not known which school the children attended.
