The Bronx Rotary Club celebrated the installation of its new president and presented the Paul Harris Fellow Awards at its annual dinner dance on Thursday, June 23 at the Marina del Rey. The club commemorated a year of committed, dedicated and unparalleled service to the community under the leadership of its outgoing president Adeyemi LaCrown Toba who will be passing the baton of leadership to president-elect Amir Asadi. This year’s distinguished Paul Harris Fellow Awards honorees included Adeyemi LaCrown Toba; Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr.; Bronx Community College president Dr. Thomas Isekenegbe; National Council of Negro Women North East Section president Patricia Kerr and Rotarian Jim Lanfranchi.
