The Forum of Italian American Educators celebrated their 32nd annual dinner dance awards last Friday, April 15 at the Villa Barone Manor. This year’s distinguished honorees included Joanne Rubino, P.S. 83 guidance counselor; Tony Signorile, Morris Park Community Association president; Alessandra Mercora, 1st grade teacher at St. Theresa School; Carmelina Fasolino Lynch, RTI teacher at P.S. 97; Jennifer Lana Etzel, P.S. 83 assistant principal; Angela D’Angelo Deegan, St. Francis Xavier School principal; Mark Cannizzaro, executive vice president, counsel of school supervisors and administrators; Ann Marie Annibale Baumis, associate superintendent for government program diocese of Brooklyn and Jeannine Petraglia, P.S. 498 guidance counselor. The Donation Award was bestowed upon the Little Sisters of the Poor’s Jeanne Jugan Residence.
