Sunday, Feb. 1 3:02 a.m. – An off-duty, Department of Education custodian was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief.

45th PCT.

Thursday, Jan. 22, 12:30 p.m. – In the parking lot located at 2100 Bartow Avenue (Bay Plaza Shopping Center), a 25-year-old female victim was approached from behind by two suspects as she was talking on her cell phone. One of the suspects grabbed the phone from the victim and both suspects fled on foot.

Monday, Jan. 26, 11:58 a.m. – A 71-year-old female was walking in front of 2205 Lyon Avenue when suspects approached her, grabbed her wallet out of her hand and fled the scene. There were no reported injuries. The suspect later used the victim’s credit card at Wendy’s located at 2140 Westchester Avenue.

46th PCT.

Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2:00 a.m. – A 22-year-old male, was walking in the vicinity of East 184th Street and Grand Concourse when he was approached by the suspect and several unidentified males who, unprovoked, began to beat him. The victim was able to get away, but while fleeing fell to the ground. While on the ground, the suspect approached him and stabbed him in the torso. The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he is listed in critical, but stable condition.

Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1:30 p.m. – A 18 year-old male victim was approached by one suspect in front of 2155 University Avenue (Bronx Community College) and was asked if he wanted to purchase candy. Upon pulling out his wallet to purchase the candy, three other suspects approached the victim and demanded money. The suspects removed $400 from the victim and fled to parts unknown.

49th PCT.

Sunday, Feb. 1, 4:01 a.m. — Police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at Mace Avenue and Cruger Avenue. Upon arrival, police observed a 22-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS also responded and pronounced the male DOA at the scene.
