The Morris Park Community Association announced the passing of their friend and brother, Thomas Heffner.
Tom was an MPCA member, John Fraser Bryan American Legion Post #19 and Knights of Columbus, Mary Queen of Peace Council, stated the association.
On behalf of our community, we extend our most sincere condolences and prayers to the entire Heffner family and close friend.
Korony Post Turkey Drive
The Theodore Korony American Legion Post #253 had another successful Turkey drive for homeless veteran families as well as other families in need.
The Korony family shopped and was able to purchase complete Thanksgiving meals for veteran families and families in need at homeless shelters around the Bronx.
Acacia Network director Ravi Rampersaud picked up the turkey and trimmings in time for the holiday.
