This past Wednesday, November 11, Councilman Andy King saluted our nation’s veterans in this year’s Veterans Day Sunset Ceremony on board the Fantail Battleship Missouri Memorial in Pearl Harbor. The event included a special tribute to Vietnam War veterans in recognition of the war’s conclusion 40 years ago. This historic rememberance featured keynote speaker, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii and guest speaker, Captain Gerald ‘Jerry’ Coffee, retired United States Navy Vietnam War veteran and former prisoner of war.
