South Bronx For Applied Media’s 1st Annual Balloon Release Ceremony

Students released balloons signifying their new beginnings and goals for the new school year.

South Bronx Academy for Applied Media celebrated the start of the new school season with its inaugural balloon release ceremony on Wednesday, September 28 at 778 Forest Avenue. Participating in the event was Lead by Example and Reverse the Trend which has a violence prevention mentoring program at the school teaching seventh and eighth grade scholars about gang intervention, peer pressure, coping skills and anger management.
