The Soundview Community Drug Free Coalition hosted a highly informative meeting on Tuesday, May 16 at Leake and Watts on 575 Soundview Avenue.
This month’s meeting featured presentations by captain Julie Morrill, Police Service Area 8 commanding officer, on the status of drugs at Soundview and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Aviva Grasso on opioid use in the Bronx and DOHMH’s response.
Members of the Soundview Community Drug Free Coalition and NYPD enjoyed a productive May meeting.
