Council Member Rafael Salamanca Jr., District Leader Freddy Perez Jr. and the Acacia Network are partnering to host a concert for Bronx residents in celebration of the start of summer on Wednesday, June 4, from 5-9 p.m., at Al Quiñones Playground, located at 681 Kelly St.
The event is free and open to the public, with no tickets or RSVP required. Scheduled performers for the event, known as the “Pre-Summer Kick-Off Concert,” include Charlie Aponte and Brenda K. Starr.
