Councilman Rafael Salamanca, Mayor de Blasio and other officials helped formerly homeless local veterans move into new, affordable and permanent housing on Morris Avenue on Thursday, December 22. The housing was a pleasant surprise to the 16 formerly homeless vets who were able to celebrate the holidays in their new homes.
