Riders Alliance Demands Better Bus Service

Amid urgent negotiations with state officials over planned improvements to Bronx bus service, a coalition of bus riders and transit advocates called on Governor Cuomo on Wednesday, September 4 to provide new spending on vastly improved bus frequency, balanced bus stop spacing, optimized routes, and new bus routes to poorly served neighborhoods that have become major destinations for bus riders.
