Acacia Network, the largest non-profit Puerto Rican-founded organization offering primary and behavioral care services to vulnerable communities in the United States, celebrated the grand re-opening of the Ramon Velez Health and Recovery Center at 754 E. 151st Street on Thursday, July 7. The newly renovated three-story health care facility will provide comprehensive primary care services in addition to recovery and treatment programs for people with substance use disorders. The facility was dedicated to Ramon Velez’s legacy of fearless and passionate commitment to Bronx residents and communities.
